Our
AWANA club is for boys and girls, ages 3 years to
8th grade. The name
AWANA is taken from the Bible in
II Timothy 2:15 where it says, "Study to shew
thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth." The purpose of our Awana club is to provide
an opportunity for boys and girls memorize God's
Word and learn how to use it in their daily lives to
show others about God. Throughout the year we have
special nights like crazy sock night, life saver
night, crazy hairdo and the Awana store. In the spring, we have
the
Awana Grand Prix

Truth and Training
The
Truth and Training program (T&T) is for boys and
girls in 3rd through 6th grades. There are 4
handbooks of increasing difficulty that teach kids
that life's ultimate adventure is a relationship
with Jesus Christ. The curriculum helps kids build a
firm foundation for their faith as well as hiding
God's Word in their hearts and applying the truths
of scripture to their daily lives. A clubber that
has completed 4 years of T&T and finished all books
will have learned and reviewed 310 verses, heard and
read the Gospel message, discovered the Bible's
response to questions like "How does God want me to
live?" and memorized verses to back them up, as well
as completing missions projects.
