Steve and his wife Sherron are no strangers to Colorado.  Steve grew up in Colorado Springs and together they have ministered in Pueblo, Gunnison, Ft. Collins and most recently in Telluride. He comes bringing a fresh vision for our church and community. 

Steve graduated from High School in Zweibrucken, Germany, received a Bachelors in Music Education from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and received a Masters of Religious Education from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California.  Steve is also an accomplished vocalist and guitarist and is an excellent communicator of God’s word with a warm and personal yet motivating style of delivery. Steve enjoys fishing, running, jeeping, and guitar.
