Today's
email covered both Sunday night, at the registration
and worship meeting, as well as Monday's Activities.
The following information was included in multiple
emails of pictures. The pictures have been put into
a slide show. If you read the info first then watch
the slide show the pictures will make sense of what
you are seeing.
After brunch on Sunday we drove
around and saw some major flooding due to getting 5
inches of rain in 1 hour. We saw the Mississippi as
we drove it.
We were all divided up onto different
teams with at least 2 people from Longs Peak on any
team that we are a part of. So, we ended up on 4
different teams.
Glueless: Margaret, Chris,
and Ben
Scrape, Splatter, and Roll:
Emlie and Zack
Hand Saws:
Will and Noah
Drips and Runs:
Mark, Bethany, and Josh
The Glueless team is assigned to the
School where we are staying so we get to help the
people who are enabling World Changers to work in
New Orleans.
Today, the Glueless team had to wash
some more walls in preparation for painting. We will
get to paint tomorrow.
As you can see from some of the
pictures, Bethany's team is painting - green and
Emlie's team is painting white and dark green.
The Drips and Runs were painting
again - maybe Mark has some pictures of them.
The Scrape, Splatter, and Roll team
painted again today.
The Hand Saw team is hanging siding.
