Yesterday we 'checked out' of our week long 'hotel' and headed off to Baton Rouge to the Dixie Landin' Blue Bayou water and theme park. Boy was this very needed day - a big thank you to Shane for suggesting we take the time it have a fun day!  

So, in this set of pictures you will see the girls packing up in the morning (sorry guys - maybe Mark took some pictures) and then our van ride to the park. I took some pictures when we were going into the park but not many inside the park do to the massive amounts of water!!!! After we headed into the theme park side I got a few more pictures and took a few at dinner. We ate at a fabulous Mexican Restaurant just outside of the water park. We were a little chilly because we were all soaked from head to toe! Needless to say, we all had a great time and were totally exhausted by the end of the day.

I know this has been a wonderful and life changing experience for me and I know it has been for the youth as well. It has been my pleasure to be a part of this experience and I'm extraordinarily thankful to be blessed by the youth this week. We truly have an amazing bunch of kids!
